Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Suzann Pettersen captured her second career major victory at the weather-shortened Evian Championship on Sunday, and that victory moved her up to No. 2 in this week's women's world rankings.

Pettersen, who also won the LPGA's last event two weeks ago in Oregon, moved up one spot from third.

Inbee Park remained in first ahead of Pettersen, while Stacy Lewis dropped a spot to third. Na Yeon Choi held firm in fourth.

Sixteen-year-old amateur star Lydia Ko finished in second place behind Pettersen at the season's fifth and final major and jumped up three places to fifth.

That move caused So Yeon Ryu and Karrie Webb to each fall a spot to sixth and seventh, respectively. Shanshan Feng and I.K. Kim each moved up a place to sit in eighth and ninth. Catriona Matthew fell three places to round out the top 10.

Paula Creamer, Cristie Kerr and Jiyai Shin stayed put from 11th through 13th ahead of Lizette Salas and Ai Miyazato, who swapped places to sit in 14th and 15th.

Angela Stanford and Hee Young Park maintained their positions at 16th and 17th, and Beatriz Recari jumped up a pair of spots to sit in 18th.

That caused former world No. 1 Yani Tseng and Mika Miyazato to each fall a place to 19th and 20th.

Lexi Thompson made the biggest move among the top 25 with a six-spot leap to sit just outside the top 20 at 21st.
