WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- This weekend, Madame Tussauds Washington D.C. brought its wax figure of Martin Luther King, Jr. to the Willard InterContinental.

The wax figure was there on Sunday morning to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the "I Have a Dream" speech and March on Washington. The Willard InterContinental at 1401 Pennsylvania Ave NW waswhere Dr. King's famous speech was finalized before its historic delivery in 1963.

As part of the celebration, the hotel hosted its first ever Gospel Brunch. It featured singer Denyce Graves, and members of the King family and Ambassador Andrew Young were in attendance, say representatives.
