WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- An online petition for Ethan Saylor has more than 190,000 signatures.

The petition is set up, calling Governor Martin O'Malley for an independent investigation.

Ethan Saylor, a Frederick man with Down syndrome died after three Frederick County Sherriff's deputies moonlighting as movie theater security removed him in handcuffs for apparently not having a second ticket to see a second showing of the film, Zero Dark Thirty, back in January.

WUSA9 has spoken to Frederick County Sheriff Chuck Jenkins, who stands by the three deputies in whose custody Ethan died.
