FREDERICK, Md. (WUSA9) -- A man faces multiple drug charges after he was found in possession of 50 bags of crack cocaine and marijuana during a traffic stop, say Frederick police.
According to police, Burt Anthony Tanner of Randallstownwas stopped int he area of Burk Street and Sherman avenue at approximately 11:48 p.m. on Wednesday.The officers that stopped him reportedly smelled the odor of marijuana coming from Tanner's vehicle and police say Tanner was removed from the vehicle. The officers searched the vehicle and Tanner, say police, andofficers found 50 bags of crack cocaine and marijuana on him. Police tell us Vicodin was also found in the vehicle.
Police say Tanner was transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of vicodin, possession of crack cocaine, and possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine.
