"Never say never," said Fellowes, "... though I imagine he'd steal the scene, even if it was a small part."And if Diddy did joinDownton, he wouldn't be the only black character. The role of the show's first black character has gone to Gary Carr, who will play jazz singer Jack Ross. Also recently announced: Paul Giamatti will guest star as Harold Levinson, Cora's (Elizabeth McGovern) playboy brother.Season 4 ofDownton Abbeywill premiere on Jan. 5 on PBS.
