ALEXANDRIA, Va. (WUSA9) -- Fairfax County police say a taxi driver who was robbed Friday morningtold themthe two robbers may have been driving another taxi.

According to police,a 49-year-old taxi driverwasin a parking lot in the 5500 block of Cherokee Avenue at around 2 a.m. Friday when he was robbed by two men.

Police say the taxi driversaw a green Ford Crown Victoria driving slowly near him. The driver and passenger got out,armed withpistols and demanded his belongings, the driver told police. The driver gave them the belongs and the two fled.

Police say it was then that the taxi driver said it looked like the suspects' vehicle appeared to be a taxi.

The suspects are described as black menin their 20s,whowore black clothing, say police.One man was approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall and the other was approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, around 180 pounds.
