LANDOVER, Md. (WUSA9) -- Police have arrested three suspects who they say are responsible for 82 copper thefts.

Marlon Glenn, 24, Sean Sibley, 21, and Marco Howard, 25, stole copper tubing from 25 units at the 800 block of Warley Drive, police said.

"The suspects are also linked to 56 other burglaries at an apartment complex in the 900 block of Attlee Way," police said in a news release.

Police said the removal of copper pipes caused over $700,000 in damages.

"Sibley is charged with first degree burglary and other related charges. Howard and Glenn are charged with third and fourth degree burglary and theft," police said in a news release.
