Den Bosch, Netherlands (Sports Network) - Second seed Stanislas Wawrinka highlighted Thursday's quarterfinal winners at the $545,000 Topshelf Open, a final grass-court Wimbledon tune-up.

The world No. 10 Swiss star defeated fifth-seeded Frenchman Jeremy Chardy 6-4, 7-6 (7-2) in 75 minutes on Day 5 at Autotron Rosmalen. Wawrinka is now 4-0 lifetime against Chardy.

Wawrinka, who is the only seed left standing this week, will meet Spaniard Guillermo Garcia-Lopez in Friday's semifinals. Garcia-Lopez whipped Czech Jan Hernych 6-4, 6-1 to reach the final four. The qualifier Hernych was a Den Bosch runner-up in 2006.
