LONDON (WUSA9/AP) -- President Barack Obama apparently forgot the BritishChancellor of the Exchequer's name at this week's G-8 summit.

Britain's Sun and Financial Times newspapers reported Thursday that President Obama repeatedly referred to George Osborne as "Jeffrey." President Obama later apologized, saying he had been thinking of soul singer Jeffrey Osborne.

Jeffrey Osborne, whose hits include "On the Wings of Love," said he was delighted the president was a big fan. He added, "Tell the chancellor when I come over I will have to hook up with him and we will do a duet."

George Osborne, who changed his name from Gideon as a teenager, tweeted: "One unexpected breakthrough from G8 - offer to sing with legend."

WUSA9's Morning Team has one up on the Chancellor and the President. They sang with the four-time GRAMMY nomineein February when released his album "A Time for Love." The Morning Team couldn't resist joining in on the classic "You Should Be Mine" (they often refer to it as the "Woo Woo Woo Song"). Check out the performance in the video.
