WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) -- Good news for airlines.

Passenger satisfaction is up more than 3 percent this year according to a new index survey.

Customers gave U.S. air carriers 67 out 100 points for satisfaction, the best showing in more than a decade.

Jet Blue took the number one spot with a score of 81, followed by Southwest with 77.

Delta and U-S Airways both scored a 65.

And, American Airlines earned fifth place with a score of 64.
