MANASSAS, Va. (WUSA9) -- Last week, a truck was reported stolen from the Manassas Public Auto Auction. Police say they found their suspect driving the same truck during a traffic stop.

Police report that an employee told them the company's 1995 red Ford Ranger was stolen from their loton Mathis Avenueon June 4 sometime after midnight.

Police say a surveillance camera captured footage of aman wearing a dark colored t-shirt, jeans and white shoes enter vehicles on the property before leaving in the truck. The truck was heading northbound on Mathis Avenue, say police.

On June 8 at approximately 2:45 a.m., a police officer stopped the truck for a traffic offense. Police say 50-year-old Andrew Hembry, Jr. was arrested and charged with Possession of a Stolen Automobile and License Plate, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

According to police, Hembry was held without bond and has a court date set for June 25.
