(USA TODAY) -- Tia Mowry sports a sexy little apron made of fresh lettuce for anew PETA ad campaign - "Let Veganism Grow on You."
We're told she's naked underneath that greenery, but we can't verify that.
The Tia & Tamera star, 34, and her family hit PETA's Bob Barker Building on Monday to unveil the ad.
"I became a vegan and I was getting bullied on Twitter about it," she explains in a PETA interview. So she "wanted to become a voice for my community. ... I wanted to educate my culture about the benefits of becoming vegan."
Eating meat is "disgusting," she says, adding, "There's a stigma about being vegan. Some people say it doesn't taste great. Don't knock it until you try it!"
She adds, "It's so incredibly good! ... Going vegan, I feel great!"
