COLUMBIA, Md. (WUSA9) -- Howard County police are looking for a man who walked in with a mask on and a gun in his hand to rob a 7-Eleven in Columbia on May 31.

Police say the robbery happened at approximately 2:35 a.m. in the5700block of Columbia Road.

The man entered the business wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up and a black mask covering his face, say police.

He walked up to an employee, handed him a bag and told him to empty the registers of their cash, say police. The employee did what he said and then the suspect confronted another employee before fleeing.

Police describe the suspect as a male approximately 5'7" tall between 130 and 140 pounds. He was also wearing white gloves and jeans.

Police are offering a reward of up to $500 for information. Please call 410-313-STOP if you have information.
