Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - PGA TOUR - ST. JUDE CLASSIC, TPCSouthwind, Memphis, Tennessee - Dustin Johnson birdied two of his final threeholes in the final round last year to come from behind and win by a singlestroke over John Merrick.

The victory was Johnson's sixth on the PGA Tour and first since The Barclaysin 2011. The big-hitter had missed nearly three months earlier in the seasonbecause of a back injury, and had just returned to competitive play the weekprior.

Johnson is back to defend his title this week and he is joined in the field bynotables Phil Mickelson, world No.5 Brandt Snedeker, Ian Poulter and PeterHanson.

Chinese teenager Tianlang Guan will make his fifth PGA Tour start of theseason. The 14-year-old has missed the cut in his previous two appearances,including last week's Memorial Tournament.

Golf Channel has coverage the first two days and early on the weekend beforehanding off to CBS for Saturday's and Sunday's afternoon coverage.

The PGA Tour heads to Merion Golf Club in Ardmore, Pa., next week for theseason's second major, the U.S. Open Championship, which Webb Simpson ralliedto win last year at The Olympic Club.

EUROPEAN TOUR

LYONESS OPEN, Diamond Country Club, Atzenbrugg, Austria - Bernd Wiesbergerdelighted the home galleries last year when he came from four strokes back inthe final round to win by three at his country's only tour stop.

The win was Wiesberger's second on the European Tour and the second of hisimpressive 2012 campaign.

Coming off a tie for third at the Nordea Masters in Sweden, Wiesberger is backon hand to defend his title at Diamond Country Club.

With the U.S. Open taking place next week, the European Tour will feature anopposite event in France, where Darren Fichardt will look to defend his 2012Najeti Hotels and Golf Open title.

CHAMPIONS TOUR

REGIONS TRADITION, Shoal Creek, Shoal Creek, Alabama - Last year, Tom Lehmanfired four rounds in the 60s and successfully defended his title with a 2-stroke victory at Shoal Creek.

Lehman became the first player to successfully defend a major championshiptitle on the elder circuit since Allen Doyle won back-to-back U.S. SeniorOpens in 2005 and 2006.

The win was Lehman's sixth on the Champions Tour and his third major title.His other major victory came at the 2010 Senior PGA Championship.

The two-time defending champ is back in the field this week, as is FredCouples, Bernhard Langer, Mark OMeara and Fred Funk. Champions Tour rookiesRocco Mediate, Steve Elkington, Esteban Toledo and Duffy Waldorf will also beon hand.

The Champions Tour is off next week before heading to North Shore Country Clubin Glenview, Ill., for the inaugural Encompass Championship.

LPGA TOUR

LPGA CHAMPIONSHIP, Locust Hill Country Club, Pittsford, New York - ShanshanFeng overcame a 3-stroke final-round deficit last year and made history, asshe became the first golfer, male or female, from mainland China to win amajor championship.

With her 2-stroke victory, Feng also became the first player from mainlandChina to win an LPGA Tour event.

Feng is back to defend her title this week as part of a field comprised oftop 50 players on the 2013 LPGA money list. World No. 1 Inbee Park, who wonthe season's first major, the Kraft Nabisco Championship, will also be onhand, as will former champion and 16-time LPGA Tour winner Cristie Kerr.

The LPGA Tour is off next week before heading to Pinnacle Country Club for theNW Arkansas Championship, which Ai Miyazato won last year.

CANADIAN TOUR

TIMES COLONIST ISLAND SAVINGS OPEN, Uplands Golf Club, Victoria, BritishColumbia - Last year, American Andrew Roque fired a final-round, 9-under 61to win by three strokes at the tour's first event of the season.

Roque is back on hand this week to defend his title at Uplands Golf Club.

The Canadian Tour is off next week before heading to Country Hills Golf Clubin Alberta for the ATB Financial Classic, where Michael Gligic defeated MattMarshall on the second playoff hole last year.
