SILVER SPRING, Md. (WUSA9) -- Friday afternoon, the St. Andrew the Apostle Parish on Kemp Mill Road in Silver Spring, Md.collectedwheelbarrows, shovels, charcoal and grills, contractor bags, suitcases, camping sets, air mattresses and diapers for Oklahoma tornado victims.

Friday morning, organizers said there wereenough donations at the parish to fill two 18 passenger vans. Donations were sorted and loaded into a large box truck, which was set to meet up with a convoy in New York that is sending relief items to Oklahoma weekly, accordign to officials.
