WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Could Tim Tebow be signed by the Washington Redskins to be Robert Griffin III's backup?

The idea might sound ridiculous, but it's something that NFL AM analyst Eric Davis thinks could work.

"I honestly think the Redskins would be a good fit for him...If there is a spot Tebow to do what he does, be that Wildcat-type quarterback, the Redskins are a place where you have a coach in Mike Shanahan who's in charge, that can say, 'This is what's going on,' where he's not really worried about what is happening," Davis said on NFL AM.
