WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Don't get me wrong, like the Obama's, I too am of the no-tattoogeneration; that group of middle aged baby boomers who live with the absolute certainty that every young person currently rocking the seriously cool ink is doomed to become an older person with no job and many regrets. Mostly regarding the ink.

But for every baller who goestattoocrazy, there's probably 10-thousand 20-somethings who just want a little eye of the tiger or whatever that is.

And now I gotta wonder.

Is there really anything wrong with that? Look at the numbers.

The pew center says 45 millionAmericanshavetattoos,40 percent of adults aged 26 to 40 with at least one. A third say thetattoomakes the feel more sexy, another 3rd say rebellious.

And so far, fewer than one in 5 confess to having regrets. Could it be that we are the ones on the outside looking in? That for younger people, having some ink may impress the boss, especially when she too is all tatted up? And so what if a saggy oldtattoois unattractive.

Lets face it: When things start dragging and drooping, a bad lookingtattoois the least of your problems.

In other words, could it be that we of the no tattoo generation have unwittingly become that thing we always despised?
Old and uncool? Perhaps.

But let's be real: If we're wrong, good for you. If you're wrong well, you still gotta go around looking like this.
