Pittsburgh, PA (Sports Network) - The Pittsburgh Steelers re-signed defensive tackle Steve McLendon to a three-year contract on Thursday.

McLendon, 27, played in all 16 games last season, recording seven tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble.

The Troy product has 22 tackles and three sacks over 37 games with the Steelers since joining the team as an undrafted free agent in 2009.
