MANASSAS, Va. (WUSA9) -- Manassas City police are still looking for information in the 1988 disappearance of Jerry D. Plaster, but say there is a new lead.

Jerry Plaster was 25 years old when he was last seen near the Manassas Mall on Sudley Road on April 16, 1988. Police say he was dropped off at the mally by a friend who was living with him on the 9200 block of Brent Street in Manassas.

Now, police are looking for a person seen with Plaster the day of his disappearance. He was described as a white male, in his late 20s, average build with unkempt, sandy blonde, thin hair.

Manassas City Police want anyone with information to call the Crime Solvers' anonymous tip line at 703-330-0330 or the Investigative Services Division at 703- 257-8092.

The Manassas City Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case.
