WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- The Metropolitan Police Department is looking for two suspects in connection with a robbery on Monday.

The two suspects were armed while the robbery took place on the 900 block of Franklin Street, Northeast, at approximately 12:22 a.m., DC police said.

The two persons of interest were captured by a surveillance camera shortly after the robbery as they approached a convenience store window.

Police describe the first suspect as a black male, 20 to 22 years old, 5'10" in height, with a slim build. He was wearing a full black ski mask, black gloves, black jacket, and black pants, and armed with a black shotgun.

The second subject is described as a black male, 18 to 20 years of age, 5'8" in height, skinny build. He was wearing a full black ski mask, black gloves, black jacket, and black pants, police said.
