WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- A 25-year-old man is wanted for aggravated sexual battery and attempted aggravated sexual battery stemming from incidents involving a six-year-old girl and a nine-year-old girl, say Prince William County Police.
Police say detectives from the Special Victim's Unit investigated a sexual assault that reportedly happened in the 3500 block of Beale Court in Woodbridge between January 2012 and February 2013. According to police, detectives found that Jerson Jara had sexually assaulted a 6-year-old girl on two separate occasions during that time period.
Police say detectives also learned that Jara had also attempted to sexually assault a 9-year-old girl during the same time period.
According to police, the girls knew Jara and he was living at their home at the time.
Police have been unable to find Jara, who has no fixed address. He is described as a Hispanic male, 5'6" tall and 180 pounds with a medium build, short black hair and brown eyes.
There is a warrant for Jara charging him with two counts of aggravated sexual battery and two counts of attempted aggravated sexual battery, say police.
