ARLINGTON, Va. (WUSA9) -- A duplex fire resulted in four adults and two children to be transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injures, officials say.

The fire initiated on the first floor of the duplex, located on the 900 block of South Orme Street at about 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, Arlington Fire Dept. spokesperson Captain Gregg Karl said.

All six are being examined for possible smoke inhalation, Karl said.
