LANDOVER, Md. (WUSA9) -- Prince George's County Police says 32-year-old Elicia McCollum of Landover admitted to stealing Apple products from her employer, who gives retailers vending machines containing those products.

Police sayMcCollum stole approximately $13,000 worth of Apple products from Cast Retail between January and February 2013. They say she would pick up the merchandise and keep the products instead of delivering them to retailers.

Detectives believe McCollum then sold the items at pawn shops and online.

During the investigation, detectives recovered approximately $1,000 worth of Apple products.

McCollum was arrested on Thursday, and police say she admitted her involvement in the thefts.

McCollum is charged with felony theft.
