WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Driving around DC is always a challenge, but WUSA9's Monika Samtani investigates if you should drive in or drive away from the movies this weekend.

Most critics are giving high marks to "Oz the Great and Powerful," and recommending you spend the extra money to see it in 3-D.

James Franco, who recently received a Walk of Fame Star in Hollywood, stars as the Kansas man who gets whisked away to Oz on a hot-air balloon, decades before he meets Dorothy in the classic film that inspired this Prequel.

Rachel Weisz, Mila Kunis, and Michelle Williams also hold lead roles as the witches.
