FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. (WUSA9) -- After the storm passed on Wednesday, about five to six inches of the snow fell in Frederick.
WUSA9's Scott Broom spent all day reporting from Frederick County on the road conditions there.
He started at the rest stop on top of South Mountain, which has an elevation of 1200 feet. His dash camera showed that it was snowing steadily. According to Broom, the snow is heavy and wet, which could be an issue for power lines, trees and roadway.
A picnic table on South Mountain was covered with approximately 4 to 5 inches, according to Broom's estimation.
Broom said at around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, the road conditions on I-70 were in great shape.
