SEAT PLEASENT, Md. (WUSA9) -- According to Prince George's County Fire Officials, a large tree fell on a house at the 6100 block of District Avenue in Seat Pleasant, Md.

According to Prince George's County Officials, a tree fell on a two-story house causing signifcant damage to the house.

Officials say the occupants who were in the house escaped safely, and a small kitchen fire was extinguished.

Four adults and three kids will be displaced as the home has been declared unsafe, officials say.

Officials say high winds and soft wet ground appeared to be the cause of tree fall.

No injuries have been reported.
