BOWIE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Firefighters continue to put out hotspots from an early morning house fire in Bowie Tuesday.
Mark Brady, spokesman for the Prince George's County Fire Department, says firefighters responded to the 1800 block of Peachtree Lane to find a single family home engulfed in flames at 5:00 a.m.
Firefighters were only able to safely attack the blaze from outside of the home. Additional equipment and firefighters were called to the scene.
Fire crews were able to extinguish the bulk in the 3100 square-foot structure shortly before 6:00 a.m.
According to Brady, all occupants of the home were able to safely escape. No injuries have been reported.
The incident is under investigation.
