WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- A wax figure of Whitney Houston goes on display at Madame Tussaud's D.C. on Tuesday.
Officials say that the figure of the singer in her outfit for the "Star Spangled Banner" performance at Super Bowl XXV -- white track suit with red, white and blue detailing and white headband -- can be viewed at 11 a.m. at the building on F & 10th Streets NW.
Many people call Houston's rendition of the national anthem one of the best ever recorded.

The figure is one of four Houston figures unveiled at a ceremony in New York. it's the first time Madame Tussauds has created and launched four wax likenesses of one person at different points of his or her life. The other three figures will be shown in New York City, Hollywood and Las Vegas.
