WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- Washington Animal Rescue League has a new pet of the week.
Ascot is an adorable little terrier mix who was found tied to a pole with a rope in a vacant lot. He was skinny, scared, matted, and suffering from a laceration under his left front leg. Now that his medical needs have been taken care of, this happy four-year-old with the appealing underbite is ready to go home.
WARL says Ascot loves attention and will eagerly climb in your lap for a kiss and cuddle.
So if cute, scruffy, pint-size pups are your type, come meet Ascot at the Washington Animal Rescue League.
