WASHINGTON (WUSA) --Metro is starting a project to replace 3 escalators at the Pentagon Metro station. Crews will remove the affected escalators from the station's south side.
Metro says this work is not as big as last year's escalator project at the DuPont station.
The Pentagon escalators were installed 18 years ago.
Customers will still be able to use the Pentagon station's northside escalators.
The replacement should be completed this fall.
