Fargo, SD (Sports Network) - Nate Wolters scored a game-high 18 points to lead five players in double figures for the South Dakota State Jackrabbits who rolled over the UMKC Kangaroos, 88-57, in Summit League play at Frost Arena.
Wolters also had six assists and five rebounds for South Dakota State (18-6, 9-2 Summit). Jordan Dykstra scored 16 points and was a rebound shy of a double-double. Zach Horstman netted 13 points, Chad White tacked on 12 and Brayden Carlson chipped in 11. The Jackrabbits have won seven straight.
Estan Tyler had 13 points, Trinity Hall had a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds and Brad Reid also collected 10 boards for UMKC (6-18, 3-8) which has lost four straight.
In the first half the Jackrabbits shot 53.3 percent from the field, including a 6-of-11 effort from beyond the arc, as they rolled to a 50-30 lead at the break.
Despite cooling to 40.7 percent shooting in the second half, South Dakota State limited UMKC to just 28.6 percent shooting to coast to the win.
The Jackrabbits outscored the Kangaroos 18-8 on points off turnovers and had a 42-36 edge in rebounds.
