WASHINGTON, D.C. (WUSA) - Lance Armstrong, the disgraced former cycling champ, met with the CEO of the U.S. anti doping agency to talk about the possibility of some kind of grand public confession.

USA Today sportswriter and WUSA contributor Christine Brennan quotes sources as saying Armstrong is seriously considering coming clean about his alleged use of performance enhancing drugs.

But on Wednesday evening, Brennan told Derek McGinty that it's likely too little too late.
