CLINTON, Md. (WUSA) - A fire in Clinton caused significant damage to a vacant house on Tuesday evening, according to a Prince George's County Fire Dept. spokesman.

Firefighters arrived at about 6:15 p.m. at a two-story single family home with fire consuming the roof of the home. A total of 35 firefighters/medics and incident commanders were called to the scene of the vacant home as it burned.

It took more than 30 minutes for the fire to be extinguished.

No injuries were reported, according to the PGFD. The fire's cause remains under investigation.
