WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA) -- A day after police released a photo of a man who robbed a SunTrust Bank in Woodbridge, they say they have arrested a man for the crime.

The robbery happened on Tuesday at 4:57 p.m. at 13408 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge. Bank employees told police that a man approached a teller, implied he had a weapon and demanded money. He then ran with the moneytowards the VRE Station.

On Wednesday, someone told police that they saw a man who looked like the suspect at the Roadway Inn in Woodbridge after seeing a Crime Solvers bulletin. Officers found the man, detained him and identified him as 46-year-old Kevin James Mincey.

Mincey is now charged with armed robbery, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He is being held without bond and has a court appearance scheduled for January 23, 2013.
