WASHINGTON, D.C. (WUSA) - Two small friends from the Montgomery County Humane Society visited 9News at noon on Thursday. Ecru and Swiss are guinea pigs, and both are ready to find their forever homes.

Here's what Ecru, a 6-month-old white and brown female, wants potential adopters to know:

Hey! I'm a major cutie, don'tcha think? And I'm friendly to boot! I like kids and don't mind being handled. I also like being let out of the cage every once in a while to run around. I've spent most of my life with cagemates and gotten along with them great, so adopt a same-gender friend for me too! I promise I'd be a wonderful little member of your family.

Swiss, also six months of age, is a solid black charmer who's eager to join a loving home:

I'm an adorable black ball of fur hoping to become a member of your family! I'm good with kids and don't mind being handled and played with. I don't scratch or bite and am friendly as can be. So won't you love me?
