LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. (WUSA) - Three teenagers were arrested after robbing a man during an alleged drug transaction, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said in a press release.
On Nov. 20, a 19-year-old man from Sterling reported that he was robbed at gunpoint by three unknown suspects, the release stated.
An investigation later revealed that the victim arranged a meeting with one of the suspects for a drug-related transaction. Shortly after, two others suspects approached the victim and searched his pockets at gunpoint, the release stated.
The three suspects were identified as Antoine D. Byrd, 19, of Sterling, Oliver S. Thomas, 18, of Sterling, and Joseph A. Ludi, 18, of Sterling.
Byrd was charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, use of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a schedule I/II narcotic while in possession of a firearm and possession with intent to sell narcotics. Thomas and Ludi were charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.
The Sheriff's office is still investigating this case.
