BETHESDA, Md., (WUSA) -- If a trampoline is on your holiday gift giving list, then you may want to cross off the one made by Sportspower.

TheU.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is recalling 23,400 of them because the metal legs can separate from the frame.

The CPSC says that can cause deep puncture wounds, cuts and bruises to children and adults when they are on the trampoline.

The $540 trampoline was sold exclusively at the Sports Authority from April 2007 through May 2012.
