LANDOVER HILLS, Md. (WUSA) -- Just days before one of the biggest shopping days of the year retail giant Walmart may have some labor pains.

The United Food and Commercial Workers Union is urging Walmart employees nationwide to walk off the job on Black Friday to protest their working conditions.

9News reporter Andrea McCarren was at the Walmart in Landover Hills where dozens took to the parking lot to express their frustrations.

A Walmart spokesperson says the disgruntled workers represent a very small minority of the workforce and it will be ready for Black Friday shoppers.
