ALEXANDRIA, Va. (WUSA) -- Fairfax County government officials have released a video to help voters understand the bond referendum concerning Huntington community flooding and posted it on YouTube.

On Election Day, voters will have to vote yes or no on a $30 million bond referendum for flood prevention measures. If it is approved, a levee and pumping station will be built for the neighborhood, which has been plagued by flooding during the past decade.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers studied the best ways to protect Huntington and found that this construction was the most cost-effective way, according to the county government.
