WASHINGTON, D.C. (WUSA) - Halloween is right around the corner, and that means candy and costumes, and apparently not just for the two legged members of the household.

Americans are expected to spend $370 million on pet costumes this Halloween, according to the National Retail Federation,
That's a $40 million jump from last year to outfit collies and pugs, cats and bunnies as Superman, princesses or witches.

Pumpkin and devil suits are predicted to be among the top sellers.
