PASADENA, Md. (WUSA) -- Anne Arundel County police are looking for a man who stole a 65-year-old woman's purse in Pasadena, Md. and then hopped in a car with other people to flee the scene.

The robbery reportedly happened at approximately 7:25 p.m. on Tuesday in the 2500 block of Mountain Road. The woman reported that she was walking to her car in a parking lot when the man came up and demanded her wallet. She thought he may be armed with a weapon, but the woman refused to give up the wallet. The man then grabbed her purse from her arm before fleeing towards East Short Road in a silver car with several other people inside of it, according to police.

The woman suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.

The man was described as a black male, between 5'6" and 5'8" tall with a slight build. He was wearing a dark wool hat and a beige mask or bandana at the time of the robbery.
