ROCKVILLE, Md. (WUSA) -- Montgomery County police say that more than 25 traffic lights are out in the Rockville Pike and Nicholson Lane area. Pepco said wires were reported down in that area as well as Montrose Parkway and Maple Avenue.

Police are out at some intersections directing traffic.

At other intersections with dark intersections, please remember to treat them as four-way stops. It's the law!

Additionally, Pepco officials say that there are almost 500 customers without power inthe Rockville area because of wires coming down and taking two feeders out.

As of 9:37 a.m., Pepco reported that approximately 500 customers were without power.

Pepco's PIO say that the restoration of power to the traffic lights that were already out will take about two more hours.
