WASHINGTON (WUSA) --Chef Juan Blanco from Ay! Jalisco Tex-Mex Restaurant in Gaithersburg, Md., joined JC Hayward at noon to cook his famous Steak Ranchero Picante and serve up his homemade Sangria, Guacomole, Flan, and fried Plantains.

JC loves Chef Juan Blanco and uses his catering frequently for parties at her casa!

  • Cut New York Strip Steak into thin strips
  • Sautee strips with butter,oregano, black pepper, garlic, Ranchero sauce, and the Ay! Jalisco Steak Seasoning.
  • Cook New York Strip Steak half-way and then add onions, cilantro, tomatoes, green peppers, cerrano peppers, and hot peppers.
  • Serve with rice & beans
