FREDERICKSBURG, Va. (WUSA) -- Next Tuesday, those who helped when a microburst in Fredericksburg caused a building to collapse in July will be recognized at an event.

The Spotsylvania Sheriff's Office and special guest speaker will honor the deputies, parents and coaches who helped everyone inside the Cheer Fusion All Stars building on Fleming Street on July 8 make it out of the building. Originally, 26 people were inside the building, including parents, coaches and cheerleaders, before the collapse.

In the end, only two parents received critical injuries and others received minor injuries -- but none of them were life threatening.
