HUNTINGTOWN, Md. (WUSA) -- Three people have been injured after reportedly falling from horses at Canaan Farms on Wednesday morning.

One person was taken from nearby woods, and put on a stretcher on a 4x4 Gator vehicle to be taken to the hospital. The person has serious but non life threatening injuries.

The two other people injured have hand injuries and were taken to the hospital in one ambulance.

The Canaan Farms is a multi-purpose equine and animal care facility in the 3300 block of Plum Point Road.
