ARLINGTON, Va. (WUSA) - Arlington County Police say the deaths of two men whose bodies were found by a maintenance worker on Tuesday morning are now being investigated as a double homicide, reports Kristin Fisher.

It happened on North Culpepeper Street in the High View Park neighborhood, where it took almost three hours before police could get a search warrant and go inside.

Diane Thompson knew both men, 31-year-old Carl Moten who was a chef at a restaurant in Falls Church, and 59-year-old Keefe or Kiki Spriggs who lived at the apartment. Diane said she and the men went to school together.

Diane says the two men knew each other. They were friends, and their bodies were found together by a maintenance man Tuesday morningin the front living room area of the residence. There was blood discovered on scene, and the investigation is continuing. No weapon was found and there were no witnesses.

Police are calling this an isolated incident.

After two and a half years without homicides, Arlington County has now had four homicides in the last three weeks, reports Kristin Fisher.
