WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- A computer glitch this past weekend caused Metro trains to idle for half an hour and hundreds of riders to be stuck at stations. Most unsettling is that Metro has not yet figured out the exact cause of the computer glitch, but officials do say a software program tracking the trains crashed twice.

Monday morning, Metro has devoted extra crew members to look out for any problems. At 6 a.m., there were no major issues to report, but around 8:45 a.m., Metro was reporting thattrains were by-passing the Dupont Circle station due to crowding conditions.
