WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- By now you should be aware that Kevin Durant hails from the DMV area -- Prince George's County to be specific.
The Oklahoma City star forward is arguably the NBA's second best player, and his unique shooting stroke has quickly become a global sensation.
Because of his elevated celebrity status since the NBA finals, Durant has become one of the most famous Redskins fans in society. Surprisingly he hasn't met Robert Griffin III yet.
"I'm sure I will run into him somewhere here in D.C. But he should know I'm supporting the Redskins -- I'm always supporting them -- and hopefully he has a great season."
But, Kevin, can the Redskins make the playoffs this season?
"Yeah no doubt -- I hope so. I don't want to jinx my guys," Durant said with a smile. "But I hope so, that would be pretty cool."
LeBron chimed in about Bryce Harper and RGIII too.
"They are two of the best young athletes we have today in professional sports. They are great at what they do, and I wish them the best."
