WASHINGTON, D.C. (WUSA) - Thursday is Petline 9 day, and visiting the WUSA9 studios will be Roxcy, a terrier mix who'll be accompanied by Cindy Taylor of the Briggs Animal Adoption Center. Roxy's bio describes her this way:

Are you fond of the little "Benji- type" dogs? If so, take a look at this sweet terrier mix named "Roxy." She's spayed, 2 1/2 years old, weighs only 12 lbs and is adorable enough to be a TV or movie star!

Roxy arrived at the BAAC underweight and covered with ticks. The ticks are gone and she's beginning to put on some weight now. Roxy is happy and outgoing, and makes friends with almost everyone she meets. This sweetheart is just waiting to find her forever home with a loving family!

If you would like to learn more about Roxy or any other adoptable companion animal, call The Briggs Animal Adoption Center at 304-724-6558 and ask to speak with an Adoption Counselor, or check out our Dogs for Adoption page at www.baacs.org.
