SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX/CBS SF) - A fire at Pier 29 along San Francisco's waterfront had reached three alarms shortly before 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The fire was reported about 1:50 p.m. at the two-story building where construction was under way for the 2013 America's Cup, fire Capt. Jeanne Seyler said.

Embarcadero St. was shut down near Sansome St. as crews battled the fire. Flames could be seen shooting through the roof near the front of the structure.

Pier 29 along with neighboring Pier 27 are the planned hub for all competitions in next year's America's Cup yacht race.

No injuries have been reported in connection with the blaze, she said.
